How long have you been operating, and what have you delivered?

We are newly established and pre-trading. We have no completed transactions, no suppliers under agreement and no customers. We would rather tell you that at the top than have you discover it. What we do have is a documented method, a supplier assessment standard, and governance you can inspect.

Are you the seller, the exporter or the manufacturer?

None of them. The Australian supplier is the seller, the exporter of record and the manufacturer. Southern Cross Export is a disclosed commission agent that makes the introduction — we never take title to goods, never hold stock, and are not a party to the supply contract.

Question 3

Do you add any markup to the price?

No. Buyers pay the Australian supplier's price. We are paid a disclosed commission by the supplier, so buying through us costs no more than approaching the manufacturer directly.

What does it cost a supplier to work with you?

Accepted Answer

Nothing up front — no retainer, listing fee or setup cost. Commission is payable only once your customer's funds have cleared to you, the arrangement is non-exclusive, and accounts you already hold are excluded in writing at appointment.

Are you insured, or certified?

Accepted Answer

Neither, currently. No professional indemnity or public liability cover is in force, and we hold no quality, compliance or security certification and no trade body membership. We do not accept engagements that assume we carry cover, and our agreements say so.

Question 6

Which sectors do you cover?

Accepted Answer

One active division: Resources and Industrial Supply — pumps, dewatering and slurry-handling systems, valves, hoses, pipe systems, wear components and liners, spares, and shutdown supply packages. Other sectors are assessed selectively through verified Australian suppliers and specialist partners. We will not describe a sector as covered until a supplier is appointed in it.

Who answers technical questions?

The supplier's named technical contact, always. We do not interpret datasheets, confirm suitability or make performance claims. Every specification we pass on is attributed to the supplier, with its revision and date.
